Drug Formulation

1 jin of cotton seeds (remove the kernels, dry-roast them, mix thoroughly with wine, then steam with equal parts rice wine and water for the duration of one incense stick), 1 jin of red dates (boiled in rice wine until tender, then remove the flesh), 4 liang of Angelica sinensis root (washed),4 liang Achyranthes root (washed), 4 liang goji berries (all soaked in wine) (washed), 4 liang Cistanche (washed with wine, mud and husks removed) (washed), 4 liang Cornus fruit (moistened with wine, pits removed) (washed),Dodder seeds (steamed with wine into cakes) 4 liang (washed), white fish swim bladders (stir-fried with wheat bran until puffed) 4 liang (washed), white Poria (mixed with human milk and steamed) 4 liang (washed), Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried in salt water) 4 liang (washed), prepared Rehmannia root (simmered in wine until syrupy) 4 liang (washed), Morinda officinalis (washed with wine, core removed) 5 liang.
