Drug Formulation

1 liang of white Poria, 1 liang of mites (roasted until yellow), 1 liang of placenta, 1 liang of white silkworm pupae (straight ones), 1 liang of Polygonatum (cleaned), 1 liang of cardamom, 1 liang of licorice nodes, 2.5 qian of blackfish bone (skin removed), and 1 fen of musk.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; then add the musk and grind until evenly mixed. Combine with 4 liang of steamed buns made from wheat flour, mix thoroughly, and use fresh well water to form pills the size of peas. Coat with clam powder; if left to dry, they will remain intact for 10 years.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose. Crush it in a earthenware vessel, soak it in half a zhan of fresh well water for one tea period until dissolved, then use a spoon to scoop the medicine and slowly drip it into the throat. Do not rush the administration; continue until the entire dose is administered.
