Drug Formulation

Processed ginger 1 liang, safflower 8 qian, white mustard seed 6 qian, Pinellia ternata 6 qian, raw Pinellia 7 qian, ephedra 7 qian, black aconite 7 qian, cinnamon bark 5 qian, red-bud Euphorbia 2 qian, red ladybug 8 fen, sesame oil 5 jin.

Processing

Fry all the above herbs in sesame oil until charred. For every jin of oil, add camphor (8 liang 5 qian in summer; 7 liang 5 qian in winter) and simmer into a paste. To each jin of paste, add 1 qian 6 fen of musk and 1 liang of gambier powder.

Instructions for Use

Melt the ointment and spread it on cloth or paper, then apply it externally to the affected area.
