Drug Formulation

Rhubarb 4 liang (steamed), Magnolia Bark 8 liang (processed with ginger), Fructus Aurantii 2 liang (fried with wheat bran, pith removed).

Coarsely grind the ingredients into a powder.

Benefits

Severe spasms, chest fullness, locked jaw, inability to lie flat on the bed, stiff and cramped legs, and grinding of the teeth.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 daqian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 7 fen, strain out the residue, add 2 qianbi of sodium carbonate, decoct until dissolved, and take. Once a bowel movement occurs, discontinue further doses.
