Processing

Soak the above herbs in a mixture of yin and yang water overnight, then sun-dry them. Grind them together into an extremely fine powder. Mix musk, rhino horn powder, and storax oil with 12 liang of Shenqu and 20 liang of white honey to form a paste. Roll into pills while the mixture is still slightly moist, each weighing 1 qian 5 fen. Sun-dry them until completely dry, then coat the exterior with white beeswax.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in peppermint tea. For children with suppressed smallpox, dissolve half a pill in boiling water.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women.
