Drug Formulation

5 dings of soapberry (plump variety), 1 liang of Sichuan aconite, 2 liang of black snake meat, and 3 fen of sulfur (finely ground).

Processing

Soak the soapberry in 3 sheng of wine for three nights; squeeze out the juice, place it in a pot, and simmer together with the Sichuan aconite and black snake until reduced to 1 sheng. Strain out the residue, then continue boiling until thickened. Remove from heat, add the sulfur powder, and stir until evenly mixed.
