Drug Formulation

Half a liang of ox bile (ground to a powder), 1 liang of genuine pearl (ground to a powder), 1 liang of amber (ground to a powder), 1 liang of cinnabar (ground to a powder), 1 liang of musk (ground to a powder), 1 liang of Indian turmeric (ground to a powder),Gypsum 1 liang (ground to a powder), Dragon’s Tooth 1 liang (ground to a powder), Realgar 1 liang (ground to a powder), Horse Tooth Powder 1 liang (ground to a powder), Iron Powder 2 liang (ground to a powder), Asparagus Root (core removed) half liang, Gentiana root half liang, Fangfeng half liang, Cimicifuga root half liang, Ginseng half liang, Scutellaria root half liang, Licorice (roasted) half liang,Poria (peeled and woody parts removed) half liang, Acorus half liang, Polygala (core removed) half liang, Dew-covered bee hive half liang, Gentiana half liang, Anemarrhena half liang, Rhinoceros Horn (powdered) half liang, Uncaria half liang, Sichuan Rheum 1 liang, gold leaf 50 pieces, silver leaf 50 pieces, Ophiopogon (core removed) half liang.

Processing

Prepare the ingredients according to the prescribed method. Grind the ingredients from Ophiopogon to Rheum into a fine powder, then mix them thoroughly with the other herbs until uniformly fine. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using refined honey.
