1 liang of dragon’s blood, 1 liang of myrrh, half a liang of orpiment, 1 liang of frankincense, 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, and half a liang of Angelica dahurica.

Instructions for Use

First, use 1.5 sheng of clear oil to decoct 2 liang of white mulberry bark and 2 liang of white willow bark until the liquid turns red; strain out the residue, filter through cotton, add yellow丹, and stir evenly until the mixture turns black. Next, add the Five-Ingredient Powder and stir with a willow comb until the consistency is just right; the ointment is then complete.Spread the ointment on a piece of old cloth and apply it to the affected area; for internal injuries accompanied by pain, simply take 5 pills—each about the size of a soapberry—with wine.
