Drug Formulation

Lingzhi 2 liang, Qingpi 2 liang, Sulfur 2 liang, Calcined Gypsum (melted in a porcelain vessel over alternating high and low heat until uniform; do not overheat; grind finely; stir-fry over low heat until yellow), Chenpi (with white pith intact) 2 liang, Taiyin Xuanjing Stone 1 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from boiled water and flour to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

For children, the dosage should be adjusted according to the size of the pills, which resemble sesame seeds. Take 20 pills per dose; 30 for severe cases and 15 for mild cases; 10 for young children; 3–5 for infants; and 1–2 for newborns. Dissolve the pills and take them with porridge or liquid in the morning.
