Drug Formulation

100 pages of Feijin, 3 jin of gypsum, 3 jin of cold-water stone, 3 jin of magnetite, 3 jin of talc, 5 liang of rhino horn shavings, 5 liang of blue agarwood, 5 liang of antelope horn shavings, 5 liang of agarwood, 3 jin of scrophularia, 1 jin of cimicifuga, 8 liang of licorice, and 1 liang of cloves.

Processing

Boil the above ingredients in clean water, strain out the residue, and pour the liquid into a wooden basin. Let it sit for half a day until it begins to set, then cool for 2–3 days until it solidifies into a frost-like substance. Store it in a purple lead jar. Add 1 liang 2 qian 5 fen of musk and 3 liang of cinnabar (processed by water-floating according to standard methods), then mix into pills weighing 3 fen each.
