Drug Formulation

2 liang of raw verdigris, 1 liang of realgar, 1 fen of musk.

Processing

Thoroughly wash the ingredients, grind them finely in a mortar, sift through water to remove impurities, and clarify the mixture by removing any grit; spread the copper green mixture on paper and dry in the sun;Dissolve the realgar in water, remove any sediment, and clarify the solution; combine it with the copper green powder in a new stone mortar and simmer over low heat until dry. Prepare the mixture on the day of Chen at the hour of Chen, facing the Chen direction; grind it evenly again, add the musk, and grind together. Mix with glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of a marble, and air-dry in the shade.

Instructions for Use

For stroke patients, take two doses per pill, ground with mint wine; for paralysis and all wind-related conditions, dissolve in cinnabar wine. The treatment is effective when the patient vomits greenish-blue phlegm and expels pathogenic substances through diarrhea.

Note

Avoid foods that stir wind-toxin.
