Drug Formulation

5 fen of ox bile, 5 fen of pearl,Rhinoceros Horn 1 qian and a half, Melon Seed Dragon’s Blood 1 qian and a half, Lithospermum Root 1 qian and a half, Cinnabar 1 qian and a half, Realgar 1 qian and a half, White Fresh Bark 1 qian and a half, Frankincense 1 qian and a half, Moon-Moon Red 1 qian and a half, Stiff Silkworm 1 qian and 3 fen, Cicada Shell 1 qian and 3 fen, Pangolin Scale 1 qian and 3 fen, Raw Cow’s Milk 1 qian, Red Peony Root 2 qian.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. Use 5 qian of Shenqu powder to make a thick paste, then roll it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed. Separately, grind cinnabar into a fine powder to use as a coating.

Instructions for Use

Take 16 pills every morning on an empty stomach and 11 pills every evening on an empty stomach, washed down with ginseng decoction; longan decoction may also be used.
