Drug Formulation

2 liang of deer antler (roasted with butter), 2 liang of aged tangerine peel, 4 liang of angelica root (washed with wine), 8 liang of rehmannia root (extract the juice to make a paste), 2 liang of poria cocos (soaked in human milk), 1 liang of stalactite powder (washed with water), 4 liang of ginseng, 2 liang of biota seed kernels,2 liang of Goji berries, 1 liang of Ophiopogon tuber, 2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 5 qian of Agarwood, 2 liang of white glue, 1 set of placenta (preferably from the first-born son), and 1 liang of umbilical cord.

Processing

Grind all the above herbs, except for Rehmannia and the placenta, into a fine powder. Take the meat of one small green-shelled turtle and boil it together with the placenta over alternating high and low heat using mulberry wood fire until it becomes a porridge. Pound the mixture, including the broth, into a fine paste, then mix it with the herbal powder. Add one bowl of human breast milk and knead into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
