Chinese Name : 乌头药
Drug Formulation
1 liang of chebulic myrobalan (pitted), 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang of gallnut (used with the peel), 1 liang of Baiyao decoction, half a liang of pomegranate peel soaked in vinegar, and 2 qian and a half of gallnut.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.
Instructions for Use
Mix half liang of buckwheat flour and half liang of barley flour with vinegar to form a paste, then add 1 liang and 6 qian of needle sand. First, wash the hair thoroughly with warm soapberry lye water; then apply the needle sand paste, rubbing it in thoroughly. Next, apply 1 liang of the aforementioned Aconite Formula, wrap the entire area in a lotus leaf, and leave it overnight. Finally, wash it clean with warm lye water. For every 8 liang of needle sand, soak in vinegar for five nights, roast until dry, and grind into a fine powder.
