1 dried Citron (cut off the top, remove the pith), Yangchun Amomum.

Processing

Weigh the citron (including the cap) to determine its exact weight; measure an equal amount of Yangchun Amomum, place it inside the citron, secure the original cap tightly, coat the exterior with well mud, and place it on a yin-yang tile to calcine over a fire. Stop when the blue smoke has nearly dissipated. Remove it, place it on the ground, cover it with a bowl to prevent it from turning into white ash, wait until it has cooled completely, remove the mud, and grind it into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 2–3 qian per dose, mixed with hot water. Even severe cases can be completely cured; those with a weak constitution should take half the dose, and after recovery, continue with the “Two Sages Decoction” to ensure a complete cure.
