Drug Formulation

White alum (refined until frost-white; known as “Ba Shi”).

Processing

Grind the above into a fine powder and form into pills using cooked pork liver (beef liver is even better).

Benefits

For dysentery caused by qi.

Instructions for Use

Take on an empty stomach with rice water. For vegetarians, form into pills using steamed buns and take as directed.
