Drug Formulation

1 crucian carp (remove the intestines, stomach, and roe; place 1 grain of realgar the size of a chicken’s egg and 1 qian of realgar inside the abdomen; place the fish belly-up over charcoal until the smoke dissipates; remove and fill the cavity with 1 whole centipede, half liang of Atractylodes, 5 gardenia fruits,2 soap pods (burned together), and 5 castor seeds (skinned and burned over a lamp flame); additionally, use 3 wen of yellow gelatin and 2 soap pods (skinned and roasted in ghee).

Instructions for Use

Separately, take 2 pieces of soapberry, remove the skin, and crush them. Add 3 bowls of water, squeeze out the juice, and strain out the residue. Simmer 4 liang of lean lamb meat until tender, then add 5 li of mercury oxide and half a liang of male breast milk. Grind everything together into a paste, mix with the medicinal powder, and form into pills the size of mung beans, coated with cinnabar.Take 10 pills each time, washed down with warm wine at dawn, once a day. By evening, the flesh-like lumps will be expelled. If there are five lumps on the neck, take five doses to remove them; adjust the number of doses according to the number of lumps present, and additional doses may be taken as needed. For heat-toxin sores or boils that have not yet formed a head, a single dose should be sufficient to disperse them.
