Processed alum 3 fen, Hundred Herbs Ash 5 li, lampwick ash 5 li, licorice root powder 2 fen, peppermint 2 fen, borneol 5 li.

Processing

For every 3 fen of processed alum, first mix with 5 li of Hundred Herbs Ash and grind to a fine powder; add 5 li of lampwick ash and grind again until the mixture turns a slate-gray color; then add 2 fen of licorice root powder and 2 fen of peppermint and grind to a fine powder; finally, add 5 li of borneol.

Instructions for Use

This medicine must be prepared fresh as needed; if left for several days, it becomes ineffective, and on overcast or rainy days, it is effective for only one day.
