Drug Formulation

8 liang of Coptis (wine-fried), 8 liang of fresh male pig large intestine (thoroughly washed).

Processing

Stuff the large intestine with finely ground Coptis rhizome powder, boil until soft, blend thoroughly, dry in an oven, then grind into a fine powder. Add 40% starch based on the weight of the dry powder, mix with water to form small pills, with each qian yielding no fewer than 30 pills.

Blood in the stool; anal prolapse and swelling.

Instructions for Use

Take 1.5 to 3 qian per dose, taken with hot water before meals.
