Chinese Name : 川芎茶
Drug Formulation
Perilla leaves (coarsely chopped), fresh ginger (shredded), fresh Chuanxiong stems and leaves (coarsely chopped; if unavailable, dried Chuanxiong may be used), tangerine peel, and fresh Acorus (root, shredded)—each in equal parts.

Processing
Prepare one box of this mixture and one box of fine tea. On the 5th day of the 5th month at noon, wash your hands thoroughly before gathering the herbs, mix them evenly with the tea, wrap them in thick paper to seal out air, dry them in an oven, and store them in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use
Each time you take it, add the white part of a scallion, steep in boiling water for one zhong, and drink while hot. Recovery will follow once sweating begins.
