Formulas Name : Cinnabar and Sichuan Pepper
Chinese Name : 丹砂椒
Drug Formulation
Cinnabar (finely ground for 1–2 days, then washed with water) 2 liang; White Poria (black skin removed, ground into powder) 1 liang; Ginseng powder 1 liang; Sichuan pepper (with seeds and closed pods removed) half a jin.

Processing
Place the above ingredients in a new porcelain vessel with 3 sheng of good wine. During the hottest part of the day in the three dog days of summer, stir continuously with a bamboo stick until the wine has completely evaporated.
Instructions for Use
Take 2–7 pills every morning, washed down with cold water or warm wine.
