Drug Formulation

Red and white He Shou Wu 1 jin (boil 3.5 sheng of black beans, mix with the He Shou Wu, and soak for one day and one night; after draining the liquid, mix the beans with the He Shou Wu, steam in a wooden steamer, and repeat the soaking process five times), Angelica sinensis root (washed with wine) 3 liang,half a jin of red Poria (soaked in cow’s milk, then boiled until dry), half a jin of white Poria (soaked in human milk, then boiled until dry), 4 liang of Psoralea corylifolia (stir-fried with salt and wine), 3 liang of Lycium barbarum (soaked in wine, then roasted),Cuscuta seed half a jin (soaked in wine, steamed, pounded into cakes, and baked dry), Huai Achyranthes root (soaked in licorice water) 4 liang, Huai Rehmannia root (soaked in wine, steamed with 3 qian of Amomum, dried, and ground into powder), genuine myrrh 1 liang 5 qian (sand removed).

Processing

Sun-dry, grind into a powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills each time: on an empty stomach, with wine; at noon, with ginger soup; and before bedtime, with salted water.

Note

Avoid iron utensils.
