Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Take a black plum, remove the pit, and shape it into a patty. Enclose the powdered medicine inside, coat the outside with the powder, wrap it in cotton, and tie it to the end of a chopstick.

Instructions for Use

First, take a goose feather quill, sharpen it into a needle, and pierce the quill. Dip a cotton ball in light vinegar and apply it to the affected area in the throat until phlegm is cleared; if the jaw is locked shut, first administer the “Jiaoguan San” powder intranasally; sneezing and runny nose will follow, and the jaw will open.
