Chinese Name : 槐枝煎
Drug Formulation
Acacia branches (harvested in February or March; chopped) 1 dou,Mulberry twigs (chopped) 1 dou, willow twigs 1 dou (chopped. Soak these three ingredients in 5 dou of water overnight; the next day, place them in a pot and simmer over alternating low and high heat until reduced to approximately 1 dou. Strain out the residue, then transfer the liquid to a copper cauldron and simmer until reduced to 5 sheng before adding the following herbs), locust tree worm larvae 1 liang, Asarum (stems and leaves removed) half liang,Gaomu (with stems and soil removed) 1 liang, Hu Tong tears half a liang, Shengma half a liang, Mangcao half a liang, Musk (ground) 1 fen.

Instructions for Use
Grind the latter seven ingredients into a powder, add them to the decoction from the previous formula, and simmer further until it reaches the consistency of molasses. Before bedtime, rinse your mouth thoroughly; apply half a spoonful of the medicine to the affected area. If saliva forms, spit it out; repeat the application before going to bed.
