Drug Formulation

Poria cocos, Guanzhong, Borax (ground separately), and Ma Pi Bo—2 qian each; Placenta (boiled in water)—4 qian;Shan Dougen 4 qian, Blackfish Bone 4 qian, Jinxing Fengweicao 4 qian, Shan Yao 4 qian, Bai Zhu 4 qian, Bai Jiangcan 4 qian, Mitong 4 qian, Da Gancao 1 qian, Han Shui Shi 3 qian, Peizi Yan Zhi 1 qian, Frankincense 4 qian (ground separately), Musk half a qian (ground separately), Elephant Ivory Powder 1 qian.

Processing

Roast and dry each of the above ingredients separately, then grind them into a fine powder. Grind the frankincense, musk, carmine, and borax separately, then mix them into the powder of the other herbs. Form the mixture into pills the size of a marble using a thin wheat flour paste. Coat the pills with a powder made from calcined soft gypsum, and dry them in the shade.

Instructions for Use
