Drug Formulation

3 qian of borneol, half a qian of mercury oxide, half a qian of mercury sulfate, half a qian of realgar, 1 zi of frankincense, 1 zi of myrrh, half a qian of dragon’s blood, half a zi of sulfur, half a zi of musk, and 14 croton seeds (with skin and core removed, oil extracted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with raw wheat flour paste to form pills, and shape into pellets the size of a wheat grain.

Instructions for Use

When administering, first use a needle to lancing the sore and insert the medicine. Depending on the severity, 1–2 pills should suffice; 1–2 shichen after administration, the swelling of the sore will subside completely. For cases of lower genital sores that have eroded the penis—whether partially or entirely—grind 2 pills with warm water and apply the paste to the affected area.
