Chinese Name : 麻黄膏
Drug Formulation
2 jin of pork lard (melted and strained), 2 liang of Ephedra, 2 liang of Stemona, 2 liang of Windseed pulp, 2 liang of Sichuan pepper, 1 liang of Cimicifuga, 1 liang of Lithospermum, and 1 liang of calcined alum.

Processing
Boil all ingredients together until charred, remove the residue, filter to clarify, then add 2 liang of orpiment to thicken the mixture. Add almond paste and sulfur (ground into a very fine powder), and mix together to form a paste.
