Drug Formulation

Atractylodes macrocephala (stir-fried with earth) 1.5 liang, Astragalus membranaceus (honey-fried) 1.5 liang, Paeonia lactiflora (wine-fried) 1.5 liang, Polygala tenuifolia (briefly boiled with licorice, core removed) 1.5 liang, Angelica sinensis (wine-washed) 1 liang, Dioscorea opposita 1 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa (wine-washed) 1 liang, Schisandra chinensis 1 liang, Panax ginseng (root base removed) 1 liang,Poria (white) 2 liang, Cornus officinalis (stems removed) 5 qian, Raw Rehmannia (washed with wine) 5 qian, Dried tangerine peel (soaked) 8 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take the blood from one duck, mix it with honey, and blend it with the powdered herbs to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
