Instructions for Use

Burn the bark to ash, boil it in water until reduced to 70 percent of its original volume, clarify the liquid, and remove the dregs. Wash the eyes with this solution for one year, and vision will be as clear as that of a child. The dates for eye washing are as follows: the 8th day of the first lunar month, the 10th day of the second lunar month, the 5th day of the third lunar month, the 8th day of the fourth lunar month, the 8th day of the fifth lunar month, the 7th day of the sixth lunar month, the 7th day of the seventh lunar month, the 3rd day of the eighth lunar month, the 10th day of the ninth lunar month, the 9th day of the tenth lunar month, the 10th day of the eleventh lunar month, and the 22nd day of the twelfth lunar month.
