Chinese Name : 茴香煎丸

Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed pods removed), 2 liang of aged ginger (finely ground), 1 liang of Magnolia bark (coarse outer bark removed), 1 liang of fennel, 1 liang of green salt (sea salt may also be used; place the above 5 ingredients in a porcelain jar, soak in boiling water until well-infused, then simmer over low heat until dry), 1 liang of large Sichuan aconite, 1 liang of aconite root (both ingredients: peel and navel tip removed, chopped into dice-sized pieces, stir-fried until golden),1 liang of Amomum villosum seeds, 1 liang of Sichuan melia fruit, 1 liang of cinnamon bark (peeled), 1 liang of Polygonum multiflorum (roasted), 1 liang of aged tangerine peel (white pith removed), and 1 liang of Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice washing water overnight).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using vinegar paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with warm wine or salted broth.
