Formulas Name : Five Accumulations Qi-Harmonizing Pills

Chinese Name : 五积匀气丸

Drug Formulation

81 apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed), 81 croton seeds (with skin removed and ground), 1 fen of wood fragrant, 1 fen of black aconite, 1 fen of angelica root, and half a liang of small blocks (i.e., sappan wood).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and mix thoroughly; use glutinous rice cooked into a paste to form pills the size of mung beans.

For the five types of wind-toxin.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills per dose, taken before bedtime with peppermint tea or ginger tea. Adjust the dosage according to the patient’s condition (deficiency or excess).

Note

Avoid sexual intercourse for 49 days.
