Chinese Name : 甘露膏
Drug Formulation
Coptis rhizome 2 liang (crushed), Orpiment 7 qian, Copper vitriol 7 qian, Angelica root 4 qian (sliced), White cloves 2 qian, White alum 3 qian, Myrrh 1 qian (simmer the 7 ingredients in 5 sheng of water until reduced to 1 sheng; strain out the residue), Mercury oxide 1 qian, Bismuth subnitrate 2 qian (ground), Mercury 0.5 qian, Borneol a small amount, Musk a small amount (ground).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix thoroughly into the ointment prepared earlier.

Instructions for Use
Apply 3–5 chopsticks’ worth per instillation; if a sensation of dryness occurs, go to sleep for 10 days.
