Chinese Name : 镇心化痰丸

Drug Formulation

Southern Star, Pinellia, White Alum, White Aconite, Apricot Kernels (with skin and tip removed, stir-fried), Iron Oxide Powder, Croton Seed (with core, shell, and oil removed), and Lead White.

Processing

All ingredients are used raw; grind into a fine powder, mix with soft, cooked rice to form pills the size of mung beans, and coat with cinnabar.

For malaria with excessive phlegm.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of scallion whites and mint. Relief is guaranteed after 1–2 doses; for best results, alternate with the Appetite-Promoting Pills to clear food stagnation.
