Drug Formulation

3 liang Poria Sclerotium, 3 liang Scutellaria Root, 3 liang Polygala Root, 3 liang Dried Rehmannia Root, 1 liang Licorice Root, 1 liang Donkey-hide Gelatin, 1 liang Sugar, 2 liang Pinellia Rhizome, 2 liang Aconite Root, 2 liang Cinnamon Bark, 2 liang Fresh Ginger, 4 liang Gypsum, 4 liang Ophiopogon Tuber, 30 jujubes.

For deficiency of heart qi, with pain radiating from the abdomen to the back, making it impossible to bend forward or backward.

Instructions for Use

Boil 1 dou of water down to 3 sheng, strain out the residue, add sugar and ejiao, and simmer further until reduced to 2 sheng and 2 he. Divide into 3 doses.
