Cinnabar 12 zhu, Sichuan pepper 18 zhu, Sichuan lacquer 18 zhu, dried ginger 18 zhu, Asarum 18 zhu, Scutellaria 18 zhu, Stephania 18 zhu, Cinnamon bark 18 zhu, Poria 18 zhu, Ginseng 18 zhu, Glehnia 18 zhu,Platycodon root 18 zhu, Epimedium 18 zhu, Aconite root 18 zhu, Realgar 24 zhu, Evodia fruit 30 zhu, Ephedra 2.5 liang, Red ochre 2.5 liang (Asarum, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cinnabar, and Realgar are not roasted; all others are roasted).

Benefits

For headache and fever due to cold damage, with stiffness in the lower back and neck; as well as for wind-induced lockjaw and persistent malaria; and for women suffering from wind-cold after childbirth, with distended abdomen due to menstrual qi stagnation.

Instructions for Use

Take one fangcun bi with wine three times daily; those who can tolerate the medicine may take two bi. Cover the patient to induce sweating. To treat malaria, first induce an attack for one hour, then administer two and a half bi of the formula, adjusting the dosage as appropriate.
