Drug Formulation

1 fen of potash, 2 fen of Persian indigo, 2 fen of blue chrysanthemum seeds, 2 fen of blue agarwood, 2 fen of sunflower, 2 fen of trumpet vine flower, 2 fen of polygala, 2 fen of bupleurum, 2 fen of red ochre, 2 fen of gold tooth stone, 2 fen of primordial essence, 2 beetles,1 betel nut (raw), 2–7 pieces of tangerine peel (pitted), 2–7 leeches, 1 tiger’s eye.

Benefits

For children under three years of age suffering from malnutrition, with a golden-hued complexion, emaciation, loss of appetite, underdeveloped muscles, gradual darkening and wasting of the body, vomiting immediately after eating, and alternating chills and fever.

Instructions for Use

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and divide into two portions. For one portion, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a hemp seed; for children under one year old, administer 2–3 pills per dose with plain water. For the other portion, keep as a powder; for children under two years old, administer one character’s measure per dose with rice porridge.
