Processing

Prepare the above herbs according to the prescription until they meet the required standards, then weigh and combine them. Set aside the belladonna extract, borneol, and excipients separately; take the 16 ingredients from Dipsacus asper to Saposhnikovia divaricata and grind them together into No. 3 coarse powder; roll the rubber into thin sheets and the rosin into fine powder; take the coarse powder of the 16 ingredients (Dipsacus asper, etc.) and extract them using 5 times the volume of 95% ethanol via the percolation method;collect the filtrate, recover the ethanol, and concentrate it into a thick medicinal paste weighing 250 liang; soak the rubber sheets in gasoline, stirring frequently, until the rubber has fully expanded and softened;Seal for 24 hours; transfer the resulting rubber slurry to a mixing drum and stir for 3 hours; add petroleum jelly, lanolin, and wintergreen oil, and stir for 1 hour; add zinc oxide and continue stirring; after 1 hour, add rosin and stir for another 2 hours; add menthol, camphor, borneol, belladonna extract,rutin ointment, and bone-mending herb, among other concentrated ointments. After adding all medicinal ingredients, continue stirring for 2 hours until everything is completely dissolved and evenly mixed. Strain through a 60–80-mesh sieve, transfer to a barrel, seal tightly, and let stand for 5–6 days;Place the mixed adhesive paste into the coating machine for application. Turn on the heating equipment one hour before coating and wait until the drying tunnel is fully heated through before beginning the coating process; unroll the tape from the machine (cut it off) once every 20 meters. Cut the unrolled roll of adhesive tape into segments, each 7 centimeters long. Place two segments with their adhesive sides facing each other, sandwich a layer of stiff gauze (or plastic film) between them, and then cut them into small pieces 5 centimeters long.

Instructions for Use

Wash and dry the affected area, remove the gauze backing, and apply the patch to the affected area. It is more effective when applied after a bath.
