Drug Formulation

10 liang of Zizhou Magnolia Bark (peeled, processed with ginger, roasted until fragrant, finely chopped), 10 liang of Sichuan Pepper (sorted and cleaned), 10 liang of Salt Crystals, 2 liang of Black Aconite Root (roasted, peeled, navel removed, and finely chopped).

Processing

Combine the ingredients with 10 bowls of water in a silver or stone vessel and simmer over low heat until the water has completely evaporated. Dry in an oven, then grind into a fine powder. Mix the powder with refined honey and glutinous rice flour to form a paste, and roll into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine. If suffering from loose stools, take with ginger and rice drink.
