Coptis (stems removed) 5 liang, Angelica sinensis (roots removed, washed) 5 liang, Red Peony Root 5 liang, Talc (finely ground) 5 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then mix thoroughly with the talc.

Benefits

For external ocular conditions caused by ascending wind-toxin, manifesting as eye pain, redness, and swelling; or itching and erosion of the eyelids and inner corners of the eyes, often accompanied by hot tears, blurred vision, and dryness.

Instructions for Use

For each use, take half a qian; mix with boiling water, strain to remove sediment, and use the warm solution to wash the eyes.

Note

Avoid all toxic substances such as pickled foods, fish, vinegar, alcohol, and wheat products.
