Atractylodes lancea 6 liang (soaked in rice washing water overnight, peel removed), Sichuan Aconite 4 liang (fire-roasted),Cao Wu 4 liang (used raw), Chuanxiong 3 liang 5 qian, Xixin 2 liang 5 qian (cleaned), Fangfeng 2 liang 5 qian (stem removed, used raw), Bai Zhi 2 liang 5 qian, Bai Zhu 2 liang 5 qian, scorpion tails 5 qian, realgar 5 qian (cleaned and ground).

Instructions for Use
Take 2 qian or 1.5 qian per dose, washed down with good wine, until sweating occurs; for cuts from metal blades, wash the wound with urine and apply the medicine; for lacerations or tetanus with locked jaw, mix 1 qian with good wine and take it orally, then cover yourself with a blanket, including your head, and lie as if in a heavily loaded cart traveling 5 li; once sweating occurs, the condition will be cured. If no sweat appears, saliva will also suffice; if neither sweat nor saliva appears, take another 1 qian;For typhoid fever, take 1 qian of the medicine mixed with hot wine; sweating brings immediate relief. For scorpion stings, mix the medicine with saliva and apply it to the affected area. For snake or insect bites, mix the medicine with fly alum and apply it to the affected area, then take 1 qian with wine. For postpartum women with unstoppable bleeding, take 1 qian of safflower decocted in wine.For chronic, malignant sores, remove the scab, wash the area thoroughly with water, and apply a clean dose of the medicine; for cerebral stroke, hold the medicine in the mouth and blow it into the nose, or mix it with ginger and apply it to both temples; for various types of sores, take 1 qian mixed with tea or peppermint decoction to induce sweating; for severe burns, mix with cold water and apply; for coughs, take 1 qian with white mulberry bark decoction, washed down with wine; for chronic sores, wash the area with urine and apply the medicine;For malignant sores, carbuncles, boils, fish-eye sores, red thread sores, and styes, mix the medicine and apply it to the affected area using a goose wing; for one-sided or bilateral headaches, hold the medicine in your mouth and blow it into the nose; for scabies covering the entire body, scrofula, or whip-wound sores with bleeding, apply the medicine mixed with water to the affected area, then take 2 qian orally with warm wine, regardless of the time of day;For sores at the root of the tongue, external leg sores, and all types of unexplained swellings and toxic lesions, mix the medicine with freshly drawn cool water and apply it to the affected area; for various types of wind-induced collapses resulting in loss of consciousness, mix 1 qian of the medicine with good wine and administer it; cover the patient with a blanket to induce sweating for immediate relief; for “saddle wind” in mules, horses, and other livestock—where other medications are ineffective and the animal arches its back and hugs its knees—administer 5 qian of the medicine mixed with half a bowl of wine; cover the animal with a felt blanket to induce sweating for immediate relief.
Note
Avoid hot foods for half a day; once sweating begins, take great care not to be exposed to drafts.
