Formulas Name : Kidney-Strengthening Decoction

Chinese Name : 利肾汤

Drug Formulation

1 liang and a half of Alisma, 1 liang and a half of raw Rehmannia glutinosa (roasted), 1 liang and a half of red Poria (black skin removed), 1 liang of Areca nut (chopped), 1 liang of Ophiopogon japonicus (core removed, roasted), 1 liang of Bupleurum (stems removed), 1 liang of Fructus Aurantii (pith removed, fried with bran),Scutellaria baicalensis (black core removed) 1 liang, Achyranthes bidentata (soaked in wine, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian bi per dose; add 1 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 7 fen, strain, and take while warm.
