Drug Formulation

2 liang of bitter plantain (roasted on paper until purple; grind separately into a fine powder), 3 qian of white mulberry root bark (roasted until yellow; coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Aristolochia root (soil removed), and 1 fen of ephedra (roots and nodes removed).

Processing

Grind all ingredients except the bitter mustard into a fine powder; then add the bitter mustard and grind it as well, mixing thoroughly. Boil jujube pulp and use it to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills each time, after meals or before bedtime, washed down with a decoction of donkey-hide gelatin and soapberry.
