Drug Formulation

1.5 liang of agarwood, 0.5 liang of realgar (ground), 0.5 liang of wood fragrant,1 piece of Aconite (roasted until cracked, peel and pith removed), half liang of Black Curcuma (roasted, coarsely chopped), half liang of Chicken-Claw Curcuma (roasted, coarsely chopped), half liang of Beijing Curcuma (roasted, coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Green Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked), and 1 liang of Angelica sinensis (sliced and baked).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from wine and boiled flour to form pills the size of small cherries.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, take a piece of fresh ginger, hollow it out into a small bowl, place one pill inside, wrap it in damp paper, and steam until fragrant and cooked through. Set it on the ground to remove the heat toxicity for a short while, then chew it thoroughly and swallow it with salted water.
