Drug Formulation
1 liang of elephant skin (stir-fried with wine; grind to a fine powder before use), 1 “stable” goose egg (i.e., a goose egg that died inside the shell just before hatching; seal the shell with wax paper and calcine until yellow), 5 qian of large aconite root (boiled in a child’s urine), 1 liang of yellow-flowered groundsel (with flowers removed),5 qian of ginseng, 5 qian of dragon’s blood, 2 qian of agarwood, 5 fen of musk, 1 qian of borneol, 5 fen of horse areca nut, 5 fen of ox bile, 5 qian of astragalus (honey-roasted), 5 fen of Asarum, 1 liang of belamcanda, 1 qian of cassia bark, 5 qian of deer antler, 1 qian of cinnabar, 1 liang of tiny seedless grapes,1 qian of Wood Fragrance, 2 qian of White Aconite, 1 liang of Xianmao (simmered in black bean juice), and 5 qian of Licorice.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from fermented white rice (Mi Shan) to form pills the size of a longan.
