Liver-Cooling Pills,Pediatric rashes affecting the eyes, causing external opacities. When a child suffers from a rash but fails to observe dietary restrictions or rest, heat accumulates in the liver, surges upward into the eyes, causing eye pain, tearing, redness, dryness, photophobia, and difficulty opening the eyes. Toxins congest in the liver and diaphragm, leading to opacities; when swollen, these opacities appear silvery. Latent heat in the liver and gallbladder causes the “Five Softnesses”—a flushed face, red lips, and body heat.

Chinese Name : 凉肝丸

Drug Formulation

2 liang of Fangfeng, 1 liang of Huangqin, 1 liang of Chongweizi, 1 liang of Hei Shen, 1 liang of Da Huang, 1 liang of Zhimu, 1.5 liang of Ren Shen, 1.5 liang of Fuling.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

First, wash the eyes with Qinpi Decoction; then, take 10 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with tea.
