Bupleurum root 5 kg, Astragalus root 5 kg, Milky Vine 5 kg, Safflower 5 kg, Angelica root 5 kg, refined honey 8 kg.

Processing

Grind Safflower and Chinese Angelica into a fine powder; then place Astragalus, Bupleurum, and Chicken Blood Vine in a decoction pot and decoct twice—the first time for 2 hours, the second time for 1 hour. Combine the decoctions, filter them, and concentrate into a thick paste. Mix thoroughly with the powder,dry, grind, and sieve (particle size should be less than 100 mesh); add refined honey and mix thoroughly until soft and moist; roll into pills; dry and package; each pill weighs 2 qian.
