Drug Formulation

1 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 4 qian of Curcuma zedoaria, 4 qian of Moutan bark, 4 qian of charred chrysanthemum flowers, 4 qian of licorice, 4 qian of Fritillaria, 4 qian of raw gypsum, 8 qian of white peony root (grind the above 8 ingredients into a fine powder and sift through a sieve), 4 qian of Ophiopogon, 4 qian of Dendrobium nobile, 4 qian of Anemarrhena, 4 qian of bamboo shavings, 4 qian of maltose, 8 qian of raw Rehmannia, 8 qian of Trichosanthes seeds(Boil the above 7 ingredients together to form a paste).

Processing

Mix the paste with the previous ingredients, air-dry, grind into a fine powder, form into pellets the size of millet grains using water, and then press into cakes weighing approximately 1 fen each (for every 5 liang 2 qian, add 2 qian of antelope horn powder; for every 16 liang of fine powder, add 1 liang of gelatin powder).

Instructions for Use

Take 4 tablets per dose, twice daily, with warm water.
