Drug Formulation

Musk (finely ground) half liang, sulfur (finely ground) 3 fen, realgar (free of impurities, finely ground) 1 fen, dendrobium (roots removed) 1 liang, black pepper 1 liang, fennel seeds (roasted) 1 liang, psoralea (roasted) 1 liang,Frankincense 1 liang, Polygonum multiflorum 1.5 liang, Cloves 1 liang, Nutmeg (shelled) 1 liang, Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (sliced and roasted) 1 liang, Evodia (soaked in boiling water 7 times, dried, and roasted) 1 liang, Areca nut (chopped) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the ground medicine, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a paste made from flour boiled in wine.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with warm wine; rice porridge may also be used.
