Chinese Name : 乌髭揩牙药

Drug Formulation

Half liang of Sophora flavescens, 1 liang of indigo powder (the kind that is snail-shell blue), and 1 liang of rock salt.

From *The Treasure of Household Health*, cited in Volume 49 of *Formulas for Universal Relief*.

Processing

First, grind the Sophora root into a fine powder; next, grind the indigo powder; then grind the rock salt. Mix all three ingredients together until well blended.

Instructions for Use

Use this mixture as a tooth-cleaning paste morning and evening. Gently rub it onto the teeth for a short while, then rinse your mouth.
