Drug Formulation

Asparagus root (core removed) 2 liang, Ophiopogon tuber (core removed) half a liang, Phellodendron bark (honey-fried) 2 liang, Anemarrhena rhizome 1.5 liang, Angelica root 1 liang, White peony root 1 liang, Atractylodes rhizome 8 qian, Acorus rhizome 1.5 liang, Licorice root half a liang.

Processing

Take approximately 1 liang of the mixture and 2 large bowls of water; boil until reduced to 1 bowl, strain out the residue, and then boil further until it becomes a paste.
